SMI Mega PoleCat Evaporator Skid-mounted unit, designed for large-scale operations.

Key Features:

  • Efficient Spray: 30 nozzle system flows 150 gpm (568 lpm) at 150 psi (10.3 bar), reaching up to 174 gpm (659 lpm) at 200 psi (13.8 bar).
  • Stable and Mobile: Skid mounted with 359° oscillation standard for easy positioning.
  • User-Friendly Controls: Features an electric head jack and HMI color touchscreen display for intuitive operation.
  • Adaptive Operation: Manual or automated wind/speed start/stop controls for efficient performance management.

Floating unit, designed for effective operation in small areas, especially sites containing large particles or highly corrosive water.

Key Features:

  • Low Build-up: Minimal top surface area to prevent residue.
  • High Performance: High speed fan blade rotation (3600 rpm) that creates an optimum water droplet distribution for evaporation.
  • Easy Maintenance: No weekly lubrication, motor lubricated for life.
  • Minimal Clogging: Passes particles up to 3/16 inch, reduces pre-filtering needs.
  • Extreme Duty: 10 years of industrial use, polyethylene pontoons with PU foam, stainless steel components for harsh environments.

Two main categories of evaporators for produced water treatment:

420 (Floating) Series

Water fracturing: The water stream is fractured through a high-speed fan and propelled into the air.

PoleCat (On-shore) Series

Water atomization: Air is compressed via a fan through a tapered barrel and propels controlled-size water droplets created via nozzles.

Challenge
